A crispy fried cinnamon and cocoa scented pastry shell, filled with a creamy, luscious and sweet vegan-ricotta filling, finished with a light dusting of powdered sugar. Our special almond based ricotta is made in-house and is the base for all of our cannoli fillings. Cannoli are best eaten the day they are filled to ensure the shell stays nice and crispy.
Espresso is a way of life for many Italians, and what better way to honor it than blending it with our delicious ricotta filling. These cannoli's are made with our almond ricotta that has been spiked with fresh brewed espresso. After a bit of light sweetening, this aromatic filling is then piped into our traditional pastry shell and topped with one dark chocolate covered espresso bean. I like to think of it as the perfect post-meal pick-me-up.
